Stores built to actually trade
There's a big gap between a shop that demonstrates ecommerce and one that takes real orders all day. Stock that goes wrong, delivery rules that give away free postage, payment failures nobody notices — that's where most stores come unstuck, and it's the part I spend my time on.
I build on WooCommerce, because it's yours, there's no per-sale platform fee, and when it needs to do something unusual I can write the bespoke WooCommerce plugin to make it do it.
Every store is built with ecommerce SEO from the first product page — clean category structure, product schema and descriptions written for how people actually search — and runs on managed UK web hosting sized for real traffic.
What that covers
- Product import and migration
- Variations and options that make sense
- Stock control, including multi-store
- Delivery rules and free-postage thresholds
- Worldpay & other gateways, 3-D Secure
- VAT handled correctly
- Multi-buy deals and bundles
- Abandoned cart and email marketing
- Age or ID verification where required
- EPOS till integration
White Vape Co
A Southampton retailer with three shops and an online store that all have to agree with each other on stock, pricing and deals.
The website is WooCommerce. Everything around it is bespoke: a till system running in all three shops, a mix-and-match deal engine that prices the same way online, in the app and at the counter, stock allocation between branches, bulk product editing, age verification, and a mobile app for customers.
That's the difference between buying a shop theme and having someone who can build what the business actually needs. There are more shops on the ecommerce website examples page.
